Memberships and Activities

I am a member of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) and of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). As part of the ACM, I am member of the Special Interest Group on Software Engineering (SIGSOFT).

As part of the GI, I am a member of the Mittelbau-Beirat (Advisory Council of Scientific Assistants), the Fachgruppe 2.1.9 OOSE (Object-oriented software development) and the Arbeitskreis Software-Architekturen (Working group on Software Architectures), where I am also member of the organizing committee.

I am member of the Alumni association OLDIES of the Department of Computing Science. If you also graduated in Computing Science at the University of Oldenburg, perhaps you might want to join as well?

Since January 2005, I am spokesperson of the scientific assistants of the Department of Computing Science. In the election period starting April 1, 2005, I am member of the Council of the School of Computing Science, Business Administration, Economics, and Law.
